What is Autogas Conversion?
Liquid Petroleum Gas or Autogas, as it is called when applied
to vehicle fuel, is becoming readily available. To enable a vehicle
to use this cost effective and environmentally friendly alternative
fuel source, the conventional petrol vehicle must be fitted with
a LPG conversion kit.
The bi-fuel ability of LPG conversions allow both petrol and
LPG to be used. Furthermore the majority of modern vehicles today
can be easily converted to run on LPG with no detrimental effects
to the engine or its components.
The LPG fuel is stored in a fully certified tank assembly, usually
mounted at the rear of the vehicle; this can take several forms
as a cylinder or toroidal (wheel shaped) configuration, this is
then connected via pipework to the gas reducer and injectors on
the engine assembly, which is in turn controlled by dedicated electronic
control units which regulate exhaust emissions to ensure that they
comply with government regulations.

a full workshop inspection and installer training and testing to
fit systems to 'Code of Practice 11'.
We currently install on BRC LPG conversion equipment. These are a fully sequential system, featuring state-of-the-art technology. They come with a two-year parts & labour warranty.
All conversion systems are fitted in accordance with current regulations. System test certificates (required by most insurance companies) and full drivers operation manuals are supplied on completion.
Diagnosis & repair of various manufacturers LPG systems can be undertaken, including original fitment KOLTECH systems as fitted to all vauxhall vehicles .
If this is not a viable option we can undertake complete front end conversions to more efficient BRC equipment.
